Positioned between Christchurch Harbour and the open sea, Mudeford was once a perfect base for smugglers and fishermen. Today the Quay is a bustling mix of people enjoying watersports, crabbing, or just watching the world go by from the beachside cafes or day huts. Cross the water to the sand spit to see beach hut beauty aplenty and dream about what life could be if you too could live on the beach...

On the very edge of the east of Christchurch lies the bijou village of Highcliffe, home to dramatic shingle beaches below, above boutique shops, popular cliff-top cafes and its very own castle.  Highcliffe Castle is a family-friendly events venue and visitor attraction that hosts stunning weddings throughout the year.
